Today was Daddy's birthday. He got lots of boring stuff and not one doll to play with. He took back the Guitar Hero III I got him but its okay because he traded it in for Apples to Apples Junior so now I can play with him, Jamie, Mommy and Sammy. The first game we played I won because I'm real good at matching. Dad had chocolate cake which was real good and we went to Joe's Crab Shack for dinner. I had this real good drink from the waitress because one of the boys in the play place was real mean to me and made me cry. The drink was so good that mommy and daddy got the same drin
k too. Only they had neater glasses for their drink. Daddy and Jamie had crab and mom has salmon but I ate chicken fingers and boy were they good. A bunch of the waiters came and sang to dad which he didn't like but Jamie, Mom and I thought it was real fun. I can't wait until next year when they will sing to him again.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
So we spent the new year at the Provo Town Center listening to our favorite Jazz / Swing band perform. The star of the band didn't have a solo but their rendition of Van Halen's jump got everyone ready for what was about to come and then the last song (Jazz Police) was when everyone was dancing in the aisles. After that it was off to Arby's and Wendy's for some real gourmet food to kick off the year. We then went home, watched Pirates of the Caribean and off to bed. Do we know how to party or what?
Enjoy the new year, we wish all of you prosperity and health in 2008.

Tips about Sound
So we added some of our favorite songs to this blog. Interesting little tidbit is that we originally tried Last.Fm since it was the first on their list. Do not use it. Not only did it make us add a minimum of 15 songs but it took over our computer and locked it up. We had to cancel the process that took over our system and find an alternative. It literally took 10 minutes for the task bar to come up so we could figure out what was wrong with our computer. This is why we settled for Playlist. We can have fewer songs if we want as long as we can find them on the web someplace. But we can't figure out how to get rid of the boxes on the bottom.
We have posted our first video, It's from Christmas. Its a video of Heather and her cousins racing on little electric cars they all received from Santa. It's a small clip we affectionatly call the Christmas Autobahn. Parker is a hoot at the beginning of this video as he tries to prove his skills are better than anyone else's in the room. He's lucky he didn't get rug rash. The kids got real good at it even though their racing skills need a little work.

Die Cutters and Chipmunks
So we ended up getting Lizzy a new die cutter since the other one we got turned out to be a piece of junk. We found a Cricut die cutter for a steal at Roberts Crafts and she is now in the other room playing and giggling. We are all quickly becoming experts in regards to die cutters.
We also went to the Chipmunks movie, Heather chose this and we are putting National Treasure on hold (again). Why the critics liked this movie is beyond me because I found it wildly entertaining for anyone under 10. Which means I heard Jamie sigh through this movie at least a dozen times since he wanted to be anywhere but where we were.

It's Christmas Time
frustration. Thank goodness for Costco) and Heather liked everything and especially her digital camera. (Thanks Diane for the picture of Santa and Heather.)Neither Mom or Dad received a digital camera but Mom likes that Dad is going to start organizing the house with the many many Rubbermaid bins she received for organizing. (And the week off work to do so) However it may be hard to fit in since Dad got a new tennis racket and needs to go out and practice more.
